IFS has been established in 1999, as a forwarding company, and solely owned by
Mr Georges Saroukhan and Mr Tony Mansour.
Accordingly we have established our world wide network through out our faithful
foreign partners allowing us to grow in an arrow way.
With the care and services that IFS have provided to the market clients,
we have made ourselves the loyal example to all local competitors who always keep an open eye on us.
Since then most of the reliable well known carriers esteem our presence in both markets
Lebanon and Syria, by offering us their most competitive rates based on our volume market,
by respecting our commitments towards them..
In 2003 we have enlarged our business to the vessel’s Chartering, as we have had an oil project
in Iraq in Bigi city, thus we had created and operational department for this transit Iraqi business.
During 2005 we were selected as exclusive forwarding and clearing agent for the international
organization of UNICEF and UNIFIL.
In 2007 we have established IFS Syria, which is managed by Mr Samir El Chami a very well known
professional person.
IFS Syria office controls all kind of shipping of the local Syria market and all transit
shipments to Iraq and Jordan.

Shipping now a days is not a headache, it became a simple operation when you are well informed at any time,
and specially when your shipments are handled by professional companies.

we shall be establishing own offices in the surrounding countries under IFS name. Hence we can be covering the
highest consuming area market in the middle east.

In it’s first beginning we have started our work with only five employees, as the work was growing fast we had to
increase the jobs and employments to achieve now a days in IFS LEBANON for 2007 22 persons and in IFS SYRIA 5 persons.

IRAQ – BIJI refinery 2003 – COATED PIPES for 372480 kms
During 2003 IFS has managed and shipped the pipes contract for the OIL refinery at BIJI in IRAQ.
The project was to transport 31040 coated pipes of 25608 tons for the for this project of 372480 kms.
We had chartered 2 vessels for loading from Chioggia port in Italy to discharge at Tartous port in
Syria for loading on trucks in transit to Iraq.
We were handling the over night loading per vessel of around 97 trucks per vessel into one load.
